Preschool Staff Support

The Primrose School at Bedford Hills is seeking an energetic, caring, and positive team member to join our early childhood educators for the new school year. Our school is designed to accelerate the learning of young children ages 6 weeks through 5 years.

About the role

We are looking for a full-time, year-round experienced child care professional (Para II certified or candidate pursuing a career in early childhood education) to support teachers in classrooms with children 13 months through 48 months of age. Part-time, year-round candidates will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build genuine relationships with young children and families in a safe and loving environment, ensuring numerous smiles daily.
• Maintain a beautiful, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence.
• Discover and implement what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.

Requirements

• Previous child care center or Para II experience, or pursuing a career in early childhood education (ECE).
• Ability to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
