What You'll Do

• Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Tennessee Early Learning Developmental Standards (TN-ELDS)
• Foster children's social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
• Prepare children for kindergarten through intentional learning experiences
• Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication
• Observe and document children's progress
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets Tennessee licensing standards
• Work collaboratively with your teaching team and center leadership
• Model professionalism, kindness, and positivity each day

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Loves working with preschool-aged children
• Has experience in early childhood education (preferred)
• Is dependable and punctual
• Has excellent classroom management skills
• Is patient, nurturing, and positive
• Communicates professionally with families and coworkers
• Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
• Is committed to creating a safe, engaging learning environment

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• CDA, TECTA, Early Childhood degree, or related education preferred
• Previous preschool or Pre-K teaching experience preferred
• Ability to meet Tennessee licensing requirements
