Preschool Physical Education Teacher

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading physical education classes for preschool children in a Jewish educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education programs aligned with curriculum standards.
• Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters physical activity and healthy habits.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure continuity and integration of physical education across the curriculum.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience in an early childhood program.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Nurturing, flexible, and able to work within an environment that values positive community relations.
• Experience working in a Jewish environment, and Montessori or Reggio Emilio knowledge are preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States and able to pass a Level II fingerprint clearance (FDLE/FBI).
