About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading physical education classes for preschool children in a Jewish educational setting.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education programs aligned with curriculum standards.
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters physical activity and healthy habits.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure continuity and integration of physical education across the curriculum.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience in an early childhood program.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Nurturing, flexible, and able to work within an environment that values positive community relations.
- Experience working in a Jewish environment, and Montessori or Reggio Emilio knowledge are preferred.
- Eligible to work in the United States and able to pass a Level II fingerprint clearance (FDLE/FBI).
