About the role
The Goddard School of Stamford is open year-round. Hours are Monday-Friday 7am to 6pm (9 hour shift with 1 hour break).
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing and multi-cultural learning environment
- Design and implement age appropriate play based lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum
- Plan and implement activities to foster children’s self-esteem and social skills
- Prepare a daily activity report for each child
- Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, conferences and professional growth opportunities
Requirements
- A High School Diploma is required
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education or Child Development required
- A minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in a licensed childcare, daycare or preschool is required

- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Schedule
The schedule is 9 hour shifts with 1 hour breaks, Monday-Friday.
