Responsibilities
- Plan and present educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment.
- Evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment.
- Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through various means.
- Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
- Develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
- Address stressful situations professionally while multitasking to ensure smooth school operations.
- Handle the lifting of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
Requirements
- Ace in Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field or Child Development Associate (CDA).
- 1-2 years of previous experience preferred.
- Completed state-required pre-service training preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
- Infant and Young Toddler Teachers must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
- Maintains background check eligibility.
