Preschool Lead Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan and present educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment.
• Evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment.
• Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through various means.
• Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
• Develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
• Address stressful situations professionally while multitasking to ensure smooth school operations.
• Handle the lifting of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Requirements

• Ace in Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field or Child Development Associate (CDA).
• 1-2 years of previous experience preferred.
• Completed state-required pre-service training preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
• Infant and Young Toddler Teachers must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
• Maintains background check eligibility.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
