About the role

Shining Stars Learning Center is an established and reputable Early Childhood Educational Center designed to meet the learning and developmental needs of children, ages 24 months to 5 years. Our Center has been in operation for 27 years with teachers who encourage academic, social, and emotional development in an atmosphere where learning is to be enjoyed. In this positive, nurturing, safe, and supportive environment, Shining Stars Learning Center ensures each individual child's learning success. Imperative to this endeavor is the dedication and teamwork of the staff that implement this educational program, as well as their responsibility for the health, safety, and positive social-emotional development of children in their care.

Responsibilities

• Implement our academically based educational program on a daily basis in a classroom for children 2 years of age.
• Thrive to achieve the mission of empowering children to learn successfully in all current and future endeavors.

Requirements

• At least 2 years as a Teacher or Assistant in an Early Childhood Setting
• Educational/Academic Instructional techniques
• Assessment procedures
• Supervision of children in structured and unstructured settings
• Potty Training techniques

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 45 hours of Early Childhood Training
• FCCPC and/or Degree in ECE or related field preferred

• Energetic
• Able to lift 35 pounds
