Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

The Goddard School® located in Highland Heights, Ohio is seeking lead preschool teachers to join their team. They are looking for passionate individuals who are dedicated to positively impacting children's lives and making a difference in the field of early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Nurture and educate young children in a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment.
• Develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and guidelines.
• Implement a curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• A high school diploma is required, with an associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• A Child Development Associate (CDA) certification is preferred.
• One to two years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting is preferred.
• Successful completion of state-required pre-service training is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children.
