About the role
The Goddard School® located in Highland Heights, Ohio is seeking lead preschool teachers to join their team. They are looking for passionate individuals who are dedicated to positively impacting children's lives and making a difference in the field of early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Nurture and educate young children in a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment.
- Develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and guidelines.
- Implement a curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required, with an associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) certification is preferred.
- One to two years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting is preferred.
- Successful completion of state-required pre-service training is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children.
