The Goddard Schools located in Greenville and Simpsonville is looking for a passionate and experienced Preschool Director to lead our team of dedicated early childhood educators. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily school operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor teaching staff and support personnel
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, NAEYC standards, and Goddard School franchise guidelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families through open communication and engagement
- Manage school budget, enrollment, and administrative functions
- Develop and implement curriculum programs aligned with play-based, child-centered learning philosophies
- Conduct staff evaluations, professional development planning, and performance management
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an early childhood leadership or director role
- Knowledge of South Carolina childcare licensing regulations and compliance standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Experience with enrollment management, budgeting, and school administration
- Passion for play-based learning and early childhood development best practices
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
