Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for all children.
• Observe and assess children's progress and development, and document observations in their portfolios.
• Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and families to ensure continuity of care and educational goals.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and follow state and local regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Valid state certification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in a childcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent observational and assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pass a background check and child abuse clearance.

Skills

• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
