Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
  • Observe and assess children's progress and development, and communicate with parents about their child's progress.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency in educational practices and support student needs.
  • Adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs and cultural backgrounds.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's activities, progress, and health.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Valid state certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Pass a background check and child abuse clearance.
