Presales Solutions Architect - Mendix

About the role

The Presales Solution Architect role at Mendix is dedicated to accelerating digital transformation through Mendix low-code development, Generative AI, and Intelligence Center X (ICX). This position involves partnering with prospects, customers, sales teams, and partners to demonstrate how these technologies can be combined to deliver innovative business solutions. Key responsibilities include leading technical discovery sessions, designing solution architectures, conducting workshops, and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey.

Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Customer Engagement
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer challenges, business objectives, and modernization initiatives.
• Design solution architectures leveraging Mendix, ICX, AI services, and enterprise systems.
• Conduct technical workshops, architecture sessions, and executive briefings.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Demonstrations & Proof of Concepts
• Deliver compelling business and technical demonstrations tailored to customer use cases.
• Design and develop proof-of-concepts and prototype applications using Mendix.
• Showcase integration with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and AI services.
• Showcase best practices for application governance, scalability, security, and lifecycle management.
• AI & Intelligence Center X (ICX) Solutioning
• Position and demonstrate Intelligence Center X (ICX) as part of Siemens' broader AI and digital transformation strategy.
• Help customers understand how to leverage enterprise data, AI, and intelligent automation to improve business outcomes.
• Design and demonstrate AI-powered business applications utilizing Mendix, ICX, and Generative AI technologies.
• Develop customer-specific demonstrations showcasing intelligent workflows, copilots, assistants, predictive insights, and automation scenarios.
• Educate customers on AI architecture patterns including agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), knowledge graphs, and enterprise AI governance.

Requirements

• Experience with Mendix application development, architecture, or consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies including LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures, vector databases, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience integrating AI services with enterprise applications and business processes.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Mendix application development, architecture, or consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies including LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures, vector databases, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience integrating AI services with enterprise applications and business processes.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Pay

$135,700 - $270,000 a year
