Our client is seeking a detail-oriented PrePress Technician to join their growing team. This role focuses on preparing, reviewing, and optimizing customer artwork for production while ensuring files meet print specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Prepare artwork and database files for offset, digital, large format, and flexible packaging print production
- Review and modify customer-supplied artwork to meet print specifications and job requirements
- Make color corrections, text edits, image adjustments, and layout modifications as needed
- Analyze files for fonts, image quality, resolution, printability, and other production concerns
- Create proofs, templates, typesetting, copy changes, color separations, basic trapping, and ink laydown to optimize files for production
- Apply press specifications including registration marks, color profiles, gain curves, and other production standards
- Perform quality checks on layouts, proofs, and production files to ensure accuracy, consistency, spelling, and content
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure projects are press-ready and completed accurately
Requirements
- Experience working with PrePress imposition workflow software
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including:
- InDesign
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- Acrobat Pro
- Knowledge of color separations, screen values, dot gain, image resolution, and print production standards
- Understanding of offset, flexographic, and digital printing processes, as well as large format, foil stamping, mailing, and packaging applications
- Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and follow projects through with minimal supervision

Pay
$22/hour - $24/hour, based on experience
Schedule
Full time, 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Flexible to work between 7am-5pm after training.
Location: Greenville, WI (on-site)
Length: Temporary to hire
