Prepress Technician
Key Responsibilities
- File Preparation: Prepare digital files for printing by reviewing and adjusting layout, color, and image resolution.
- Pre-flight Checks: Conduct thorough pre-flight checks to identify and resolve any potential issues with print file.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to make necessary adjustments to files.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all print materials meet our quality standards, including color accuracy and print specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our customers and production team to communicate any file-related issues and make necessary revisions.
- Printing Technology: Stay up to date with the latest printing technology and software to improve efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Proficient use of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Familiarity with printing processes and industry standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot file issues.
- Prior experience in prepress or graphic design is a plus.
