About the role
Penske Vehicle Services is seeking a Prep Tech to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI.
Responsibilities
- Inspect parts for paint defects
- Prepare vehicles and parts for the masking team
- Sanding vehicle or parts using proper equipment to prepare it for paint process
- Assist maskers and painters with all prep related items
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- Some experience in an automotive paint shop or body shop setting preferred
Skills
- Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and execution of required tasks
- High degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to assist peers, teach and help out as well as exude flexibility
