Prep Technician

Job Summary

A state-of-the-art quartz manufacturing company, located in Sealy, TX, is seeking a Prep Technician. The ideal candidate will comply with safety, compliance, and quality standards, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a professional demeanor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows company safety rules during working hours.
• Ensures the safety of oneself and others at the operating station.
• Demonstrates comprehension of positional work instructions.
• Works in a professional manner, punctually, and highly dependably.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Able to work overtime, including weekends.

• Good communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Willingness to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
• Able to follow directions and carry out instructions.
• Able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Ability to wear a full-face respirator.
• Able to work in confined spaces.

Education

A high school graduate or GED is required.

Physical Job Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and balance.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
