Prep Technical Manager

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily operation, maintenance, and repair of preparation department equipment and machinery.
• Overseeing all aspects of Twisting department, including prepare purchase orders.
• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related equipment issues.
• Cookordination and prioritization of preventative maintenance activities to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Leading and supporting technicians and maintenance personnel in diagnosing and repairing equipment failures.
• Maintenance of equipment performance and recommendation of process improvements or upgrades.
• Completion of equipment repairs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
• Maintenance of accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Assistance with installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
• Collaboration with Production leadership to support operational goals and minimize disruptions.
• Training of employees and technicians on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and safe work practices.
• Support of continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, quality, waste reduction, and safety.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and PPE requirements.
• Management of inventory of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies for the department.
• Participation in root cause analysis and corrective action activities related to equipment failures.
• Support of emergency maintenance needs and provision of technical guidance during critical breakdowns.
