About the role

As a prep cook at Olive Garden in Vineland, NJ, you will be responsible for preparing various dishes such as soups, sauces, pastas, and lasagnas to ensure they meet and exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble ingredients for various dishes
• Follow detailed recipe instructions to ensure accuracy and quality
• Ensure all food items are cooked to the correct temperature and appearance
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow
• Adhere to strict safety and sanitation protocols to protect both guests and team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license preferred
