Schedule

Part-time, full-time, and on-call shifts available. Variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

About the role

We are looking for a hardworking, attentive, and hospitality-driven prep cook with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service. Experience as a prep cook is desired, preferably in a high-volume restaurant. Ability to read and prep recipes to measurements and standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and otherwise prepare raw vegetables, meat, and fish
• Use a commercial food slicer to slice various meats, cheese, and vegetables
• Use a commercial food processor to prep foods
• Operate both convection and conventional ovens and gas ranges
• Lift, handle, weigh, and portion food items using a commercial portion control scale
• Label, date, and store prepped product
• Clean, wipe, and scour prep equipment and machinery, and sweep and mop prep area floors
