About the role
Our cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our residents and ensure the highest quality standards of food service, delivering the best culinary experience at all times.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations.
- Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times, ensuring excellence in quality, temperature, and appearance.
- Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly.
- Assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen.
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.
- Team player dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.
Pay
Starting wage of $18.00 per hour plus $0.85 per hour Hero Pay. Yearly wage increases.

Schedule
Full-time position with all shifts, including rotating weekends and some holidays. No late nights.
