Preoperative and PACU Nurse Educator

Role: Nurse Educator for Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Responsibilities Lead clinical education for perioperative nursing teams, designing and delivering evidence-based orientation, competency validation, and ongoing training.Partner with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing leadership to identify learning needs and improve quality outcomes.Standardize best practices and promote patient-centered care through staff development and continuous improvement initiatives.Work on-site utilizing advanced technology and collaborate with skilled clinicians to enhance perioperative services. Qualifications & Skills Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing, including preoperative and PACU care.Experience in clinical education, training program development, and competency assessment.Excellent collaboration and communication skills to partner with multidisciplinary teams.Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and staff development.
