Join Maui Bombers, Maui’s premier guided downhill bike tour company, and share the thrill of Hawaii’s stunning landscapes with adventurous travelers. As a guide, you’ll lead small groups on safe, scenic downhill bike tours, providing personalized service and expert knowledge of Maui’s roads and vistas. Our tours emphasize safety, style, and a laid-back yet energetic vibe, using top-tier gear to ensure an unforgettable experience for riders of all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead guided downhill bike tours along Maui’s scenic routes, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Provide personalized attention and support to small groups, tailoring the pace and experience to riders' comfort levels.
  • Share knowledge of Maui’s landscapes, culture, and points of interest during the tour.
  • Maintain and inspect high-quality bikes and gear to ensure safety and performance.
  • Assist with tour logistics, including meeting points, rest stops, and any on-road support (e.g., bike tune-ups, hydration, snacks).
  • Uphold company standards for safety, customer service, and environmental responsibility.

Tour Options

  • Haleakalā Unguided Bike Tour – $140 per person

    Enjoy the same scenic route as the Cycle to the Sea Tour at your own pace. A support team is available for water, snacks, bike tune-ups, or tips. (Note: no lunch provided.)

  • Cycle to the Sea – Guided Bike Tour – $225 per person

    Ranked the #2 bike tour in the world! This adventure starts at Haleakalā Ranch with 7 miles of thrilling switchbacks, followed by a 9-mile ride through Makawao and Pāʻia. Includes a lunch stop in Makawao and ends at Baldwin Beach Park.

  • Cycle Supreme – Guided Bike Tour – $300 per person

    The ultimate 30-mile ride! Begins with a 7-mile downhill stretch, followed by 10 miles of rolling hills and descents, and finishes with 13 miles of smooth downhill cruising into Pāʻia, ending at Kanahā Beach.
