Premises Liability Litigation Counsel

About the role

Snell & Wilmer’s Litigation, Investigations, and Trials practice group seeks a counsel attorney with eight or more years of experience in high-exposure premises liability and catastrophic injury defense litigation to join our dynamic team in our Las Vegas office.

The ideal candidate will have experience defending resorts, security and events contractors, product manufacturers, and other large commercial enterprises in high-exposure premises liability matters, including wrongful death and other catastrophic injury claims.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation, including dispositive motions, expert-intensive discovery, and depositions
• Serve as first-chair or significant second-chair in trials involving catastrophic injury or wrongful death matters
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral advocacy skills
• Participate actively in the local community, in line with the firm’s credo

Requirements

• Eight or more years of experience in high-exposure premises liability and catastrophic injury defense litigation
• Admission to practice law in Nevada
• First-chair or significant second-chair trial experience in catastrophic injury or wrongful death matters (strongly preferred)

Pay

Compensation will depend on factors including book of business, anticipated yearly billable hours, and experience.

This is a full-time, partnership-track position.
