About the role

The Premier Banker is an experienced banker responsible for servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role involves managing these clients' complete banking relationships and connecting them with specialists to ensure all financial needs are met. The goal is to grow, deepen, and retain client relationships by delivering TD’s model of convenience, sales, and advice, and differentiating with a personalized, connected experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and address banking needs of mass affluent clients through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
  • Convert referrals, leads, and outbound prospects to acquire and retain new clients.
  • Engage in client outreach via phone, email, appointments, and other means to meet with clients regularly.
  • Review and analyze financial information, suggest appropriate solutions, and coordinate introductions/interactions with appropriate partners.
  • Provide excellent client service, escalate banking issues/risks when necessary, and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate loan applications, prepare documents, and conduct loan closings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients about loan products and facilitate the application intake process.
  • Maintain an active NMLS registration status and establish strong working relationships with partners across various departments.
  • Coach and provide ongoing feedback to bank staff on effective methods to articulate the program's value and make Premier referrals for mass affluent clients.
  • Understand and adhere to regulations, TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures, and implement the Client Identification Program (CIP).

Requirements

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years financial/banking experience
  • Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) completion preferred
  • Life & Health license preferred
  • Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking
  • Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
  • Active NMLS registration status upon hire
  • Consultative sales experience

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's/University degree
  • Successful completion of the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE)
  • Life & Health license
  • Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking
  • Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
  • Active NMLS registration status upon hire
  • Consultative sales experience

Qualifications

Pay

$25.75 - $38.50 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week.
