About the role
The Premier Banker role is dedicated to servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role involves managing these clients' banking relationships and connecting them with specialists to meet all their financial needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and address clients' banking needs through proactive outreach and an advice-based approach.
- Convert referrals, leads, and prospects into new clients.
- Engage in client outreach and conduct needs-based conversations to review and analyze financial information.
- Provide excellent client service and escalate banking issues as necessary.
- Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with partners to deepen client relationships and prepare for future client interactions.
- Coach and provide feedback to bank staff on effective methods to articulate the Premier program's value and make Premier referrals.
- Understand and comply with regulations, TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures.
- Implement TD's client Identification Program (CIP) by collecting and verifying required customer identification information.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2+ years of financial/banking experience.
- Successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE).
- Preferred Life & Health license.
- Experience with retail and small business banking.
- Understanding and experience with loan products.
- Active registration with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry).
- Consultative sales experience.
Qualifications
