PreK-2 STEAM Teacher

Nativity of Our Lord School, a vibrant and strong PreK-8 school located at 1900 Stanford Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota, is seeking a PreK-2 STEAM Teacher.

About the role

This position provides instruction for students in preschool through second grade in meeting the STEAM standards, fostering critical, creative, and innovative thinking in a collaborative setting including robotics, engineering, and technology. A curriculum map is provided to help guide the learning.

Qualifications

• Flexible, creative thinking which fosters curiosity, inquiry, and a desire to learn through discovery for young learners
• Training or experience in teaching, science, or engineering preferred (MN Teaching license not required)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and parents
• Positive attitude and commitment to student growth
• Must be a practicing Catholic with a willingness to help students grow in their faith

Pay

Starting salary range: $36,000–$55,000
