Precon Manager - Charlotte, NC

About the role

Contribute to our robust Preconstruction team by winning bids and increasing the profitability of the company. Cultivate strong relationships with our staff, clients, subcontractors, and business partners. Participate in the quantity takeoff process and perform conceptual level takeoffs. Thoroughly read and comprehend drawings, specifications, and any other project-related documentation for projects. Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying current job conditions, proposals, plans, specifications, and related documents to create a Project Information document and assign scopes.

Responsibilities

• Produce project estimates, value management, constructability reviews, and related documentation within the required timeframe.
• Provide all aspects of preconstruction project management including client and design team coordination and relationships.
• Train and develop Preconstruction Engineers and support the Senior Preconstruction Manager.
• Understand and implement company policies, procedures, and expectations in all aspects including work product, server organization, and company culture.

Requirements

• Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn the following software applications: Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Revit, Building Connected, On-screen Takeoff, Agtek, Procore, Viewpoint Field Work Center, HCSS, and Destini.
