Precision CAM Programmer, CNC Lathe/Mill Operations

Job Roles and Responsibilities Create and modify Mastercam programs for CNC turning and millingDebug and optimize CNC programs for prototype and production runsSet up and operate CNC machines to validate and run programsSupport both CNC lathe and mill operationsPerform CNC machine setup and changeoversTroubleshoot CNC machines and machining processesConduct in process and final inspectionsUse CMM, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement equipmentInterpret engineering drawings and blueprintsApply GD&T requirements to machining and inspection processesSelect and maintain appropriate toolingAssist with fabrication activities when requiredIdentify and resolve machining and programming issuesMaintain quality and safety standardsWork collaboratively with manufacturing and production teamsSupport continuous improvement of machining and programming processes Qualifications And Certifications Minimum 3 years of Mastercam programming experienceExperience using Mastercam version 19 or newerProven CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with both CNC milling and turning preferredStrong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeStrong understanding of GD&TExperience with CNC machine setup and changeoverExperience with precision tooling setupExperience using CMM and precision measurement instrumentsExperience with micrometers and bore gaugesStrong troubleshooting and problem solving skillsDetail oriented and quality focusedAbility to work effectively in a team environment Benefits 401k with company matchHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time offRetirement planShift differential for second shift
