CNC Lathe Operator/Programmer
AAM is hiring for a CNC Lathe Machinist with Programming experience for a Prototype Machining Facility in Warren, Michigan, on 2nd shift. Second shift may be 8 or 10 hours, starting at 4 PM EST, and includes a pay differential.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC Lathes producing tooling and prototypes (Mazak, Mazatrol).
- Perform precision tight tolerance work.
- Verify stock and tooling before loading into the machine.
- Set offsets using a touch probe, test indicator, or edge finder.
- Inspect parts with micrometers, telescoping gauges, calipers, or touch probe.
