Precision Assembler II - 1st Shift

As a Precision Assembler, you will perform assembly work in a station or line to produce medical devices in an FDA-regulated and controlled environment.

Schedule

6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly-type functions, using various hand tools and bench-top pneumatic presses consistently at or above production targets
• Handle and evaluate the quality of small parts during manufacturing processes
• Inform Team Lead of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment, or processes
• Operate equipment needed to perform the job
• Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment and following standard work
• Submit Safety Observations through the Safety Program and new Ideas through the Ideas Program
• Update the Hour by Hour Board and complete Pareto charts
• Meet quality assurance requirements, complete DHRs, and perform Process Monitoring
• Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

• High school graduate/GED
• Previous assembly experience with small parts (1 year)
• Experience in crimping and gluing small parts (1 year)
• Ability to perform material replenishment duties (1 year)
• Ability to perform in-process inspections (1 year)
• Ability to perform changeover for parts and equipment (1 year)
• Ability to set up auto baggers and printers for new orders (1 year)

Pay

Pay range for this opportunity is $15.02 - $19.44 per hour. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than the range listed. Pay rates are based on factors including local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, and foreign language fluency.
