About the role
This role involves supporting manufacturing operations through executing production tasks based on Standard Operating Procedures and blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Reporting deviations
- Participating in daily status meetings
- Proposing improvements to procedures
- Driving waste elimination initiatives such as KAIZEN and 5S routines
- Engaging in cross-training opportunities
- Adhering to safety protocols by consistently using Personal Protective Equipment
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing orders
- Basic computer skills
- Crane and forklift certifications are a plus
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to read Safety Data Sheets for hazardous materials
- Capable of working in environments with hazardous substances and performing physical tasks like climbing and standing
