Job Purpose

Pre-tuft chairs and sofas in fabric and leather with 100% Quality.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Pre-Tuft Inside sections of chairs and sofas.
• Perform own repair work.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing Experience.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing (preferred).
• Less than High School (minimum education).
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred education).

Required Skills

• Knowledge of upholstery procedures, including Pre-tufting by hand.
• Ability to transport frames to and from work area.
• Ability to push/lift/pull up to 75lbs.
• Ability to lift frame onto working area.
• Ability to read an order ticket, written in English.
• Ability to use staple gun, staple puller, scissors and regulators.
• Ability to work safely, neatly and quickly to meet production requirements.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Strict attention to detail.
• Team Player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Must have own reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
• Ability to work Weekends and Overtime.
• Reliability.
• Ability to wear required safety PPE such as Safety Glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.
• Ability to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures.

Working Conditions

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

Schedule

Monday – Friday 6a – 3:30p. Overtime as needed.

Pay

Non-Exempt – Full Time - Hourly
