About the role
Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Pre-Sell Account Manager to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Develops all assigned accounts relative to sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service
- Takes inventory and places orders for future delivery to avoid out-of-stocks and reduction of out-of-date product
- Rotates products, cleans shelving, and stocks product from the store’s backroom onto the shelves and displays in coolers and vending equipment
- Sells and executes promotions, solicits placement of equipment and sells sufficient product inventory
- Provides excellent service to assigned accounts; creates and maintains goodwill with all customers
- Buils displays and participates with store resets to stimulate sales
- Completes required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner maintaining legibility
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- One (1) year of sales experience in the beverage industry preferred
- Must be able to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications
- Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks
