About the role

This paraprofessional position assists the classroom teacher in providing full-time and individualized instruction to students whose first language is not English. The role involves a variety of tasks and helps carry out instructional procedures as directed by the classroom teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering individualized instruction to English language learners.
• Help implement instructional procedures as directed by the teacher.
• Support students in classroom activities under the supervision of the teacher, building administrator, and E.S.L. supervisor.
