Pre-school Classroom Teaching Aide

About the Role

Join our Head Start team as a Preschool Classroom Teaching Aide and help shape the future of children ages 0 to 5 in a supportive, team-oriented environment. This position includes multiple openings for both floating and non-floating Classroom Aide roles, with locations that may vary.

Responsibilities

• Help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom
• Support daily learning activities and child development
• Collaborate with experienced educators
• Rotate through different classrooms, gaining exposure to a variety of teaching styles and approaches

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Willingness to enroll in our Child Development Associate (CDA) program upon hire (completed within 1 year)
• Ability to follow directions and communicate in English

Pay

Competitive wage of $18.17/hour.

After earning your CDA, you'll be eligible to apply for an Assistant Teacher role. Note: Some travel may be required for CDA completion.
