About the role

The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer will lead technical discovery and solution design for enterprise prospects and customers. They will architect and implement custom proof-of-concepts and technical demonstrations that address specific customer use cases. The role involves providing expert guidance on API integration, performance optimization, and deployment strategies. Collaboration with Account Executives is essential to navigate technical objections and accelerate the sales cycle. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to technical content creation, mentor junior team members, and influence the team's vision and product strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery and solution design for enterprise prospects and customers
  • Architect and implement custom proof-of-concepts and technical demonstrations that address specific customer use cases
  • Provide expert guidance on API integration, performance optimization, and deployment strategies
  • Partner with Account Executives to navigate technical objections and accelerate the sales cycle
  • Contribute to technical content creation including implementation guides, reference architectures, and best practices
  • Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge across the organization
  • Represent the voice of the customer to product and engineering teams

Requirements

Must be based within either Eastern or Pacific Time in the US.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or similar customer-facing technical roles
  • Strong software engineering background with professional development experience in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages
  • Proven track record of successfully navigating complex technical sales cycles
  • Experience building and demonstrating proof-of-concepts or technical solutions to diverse audiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
