Pre-Sales Solution Architect - D365 Business Central

About the role
We are currently seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to grow our Microsoft Dynamics 365 (“D365”) Business Central practice area. This role is responsible for new business sales of AI Business Solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and the broader Microsoft platform. The Pre-Sales Solution Architect will have a deep understanding of the capabilities of Dynamics 365 Business Central along with the surrounding ecosystem and how it can assist clients and prospects to address their business application needs. This person will leverage their knowledge to work closely with prospects and clients as they evaluate and implement Dynamics 365.
Responsibilities
- Work with Sales Team to qualify Prospect Accounts
- Understand how to gather Client Business requirements
- Align functional business requirements with Dynamics 365 Business Central and other Microsoft platforms such as Dynamics CE, Power Platform, Copilot and more
- Architect the overall solution footprint required to address a client's business requirement
- Understand and manage the Solution Developer (ISV’s) ecosystem associated with the industries that Sikich supports
- Architect and demonstrate cutting-edge technology including the use of artificial intelligence during solution demonstrations
- Work closely with Solution Developers in a sales cycle
- Communicate issues and needs to internal team, coordinate Product Demonstrations with Pre-Sales / Solution Architect team
- Configure, set up and demonstrate Dynamics 365 Business Central, ISV Solutions and Power Platform applications
- Work closely with the professional services team to translate client needs
- Document client requirements, future architecture, and communicate requirements to delivery for seamless project transition
- Coordinate marketing activities alongside established and recognized marketing department
- Meet agreed sales targets
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Sales, MIS, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of solution-based selling experience in a business-to-business environment
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with and selling ERP solutions, specifically with a working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (preferred), but will consider experience with Oracle, SAP, Epicor, Infor or NetSuite
- Experience in use of AI tools for internal use, along with application of AI in client environments
- Fantastic Presentation Skills
- Outstanding communication with the ability to convey complex solutions in a succinct and understandable manner
- Experience working with prospects and clients to architect and demonstrate business applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of selling million-plus dollar contracts
- Experience managing complex architectural and demonstration requirements
- Strong client rapport and project management skills
- Industry knowledge of Manufacturing/Distribution, Supply Chain and/or Professional Services
- Great attention to detail
- Proficient at all levels of selling from prospecting to presenting to closing
- Proficient with all standard office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word

Pay
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the base compensation range for this role is $81,980.50 - $127,152.38 - $172,324.25. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on several factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Compensation ranges for roles in our Government Services pillar are determined by contract with the specific government agency Sikich is servicing.
