Pre Sales Solution Architect

Accountabilities

  • Design and communicate technical solutions that align customer needs with business outcomes.
  • Support the sales lifecycle by translating requirements into effective architectures, leading technical discussions, and ensuring proposed solutions are practical, scalable, and impactful.
  • Partner with sales teams to respond to RFPs, RFIs, and client technical inquiries with strong solution recommendations.
  • Design end-to-end cloud, data, analytics, and AI solutions aligned with customer objectives and technical requirements.
  • Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, and discovery sessions with clients and prospects.
  • Collaborate with delivery, engineering, and account teams to validate solution feasibility and implementation strategies.
  • Provide technical thought leadership across cloud platforms, modern data architectures, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities.
  • Develop and enhance pre-sales materials including solution blueprints, technical documentation, and case studies.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to improve solution approaches and client recommendations.
  • Support client engagement strategies by connecting technical possibilities with measurable business value.

Requirements

  • A strong combination of technical expertise, consulting experience, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, consulting, or a similar client-facing technical role.
  • Hands-on experience with modern data architectures, data engineering, analytics, business intelligence tools, and AI/ML solutions.
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale technology solutions and engaging with business and technical stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of cloud-based transformation, data platforms, and emerging AI capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, engineering, delivery, and customer teams.
  • Experience in consulting or technical services delivery environments preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, or related technologies are a plus.
  • A willingness to travel as needed, typically 10-25%.
