Pre-Sales Senior Solution Architect - West Coast

About the Role

Pre-Sales Solution Architects are the technical experts in the technology sales process, combining strong technical skills and knowledge with good interpersonal and presentation skills. This role is ideal for those passionate about technology and eager to develop their competencies at the business level. As an OutSystems Solution Architect, you’ll engage in diverse activities, from high-level pitches to CIOs to hands-on development of proofs of concept.

Responsibilities

• Work as an IT expert and evangelist, supporting customers in their technical evaluation process through high-quality presentations and workshops.
• Analyze customers' functional and technical requirements to design tailored technical solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create proposals that present compelling technical solutions aligned with customers' needs.
• Understand customers' IT architecture to clarify the strategic fit of OutSystems technology within their ecosystem.
• Work with the OutSystems Solution delivery team to execute successful Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Develop technical capabilities and competencies with OutSystems partners to sell and deliver OutSystems solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a software company.
• BS/BA in computer science or similar field.
• Knowledge of web development, mobile app development, business modeling, database concepts, and project management, preferably using Agile methodologies.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to organize and present technical material clearly.
• Deep insight into technical architectures, IT products, and product positioning.
• Strong business acumen is a plus.
• Availability to travel.

Pay

$140,000 - $160,000 Base Salary plus Commission. Our salary range is based on industry standards, company performance, and market conditions, considering factors such as market research, company performance, job requirements, and geographic location.
