Pre/Post Registered Nurse Full Time

About the role

The RN at Orthopedic Surgery Center of Creve Coeur is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all nursing care services for pre- or post-surgical patients, ensuring the highest quality and safe delivery of care while adhering to professional nursing, JCAHO, and federal/state standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and implement all nursing care services for pre- or post-surgical patients.
• Ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care.
• Maintain compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care.
• Care for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.
• Workdays only - no holidays, weekends, or call.
• Sometimes work later evenings.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS Required.
• Able to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
