About the role

NUCAR Nissan of North Attleboro is looking for an Experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our growing used car department. NO WARRANTY WORK.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs.
• Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive service technician, preferably in a dealership setting.
• Brand experience preferred, but not required; we will train the right candidate.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
• Detail‑oriented: ability to accurately complete service orders and document work performed.
• Team player: excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Pay

Competitive flat‑rate compensation based on experience, with performance‑based earning potential. Yearly retention bonus offered.
