Pre-Litigation Support Manager
Keches Law Group, P.C. is a well-established, 50-attorney law firm with offices in Milton, Bridgewater, and Worcester, MA, practicing in workers' compensation, personal injury, and medical malpractice. The Philadelphia office handles all aspects of personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents, workers’ compensation, class actions, and product liability claims. About the role
The Pre-Litigation Support Manager assists and drives negotiations and case management to secure the maximum payout for clients within practicable timeframes, while maintaining a reasonable allocation of time to meet caseload demands and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Review case records: medical records, pictures, police reports, income statements, etc.
- Analyze records to determine proper demand for settlement.
- Write demand letters and other correspondence.
- Make calls to adjusters to negotiate claims.
- Communicate with clients while providing exceptional customer service.
- Update clients regularly on the status of their case.
- Process necessary paperwork to accept settlement: release, negotiation and satisfaction of medical liens, and distribution of funds.
- Prioritize work based on a case list.
- Respond to emails, calendars, etc.
- Update Litify (Salesforce) case management system.
Requirements
- Experience with the insurance claims process (e.g., claims adjuster or settlement analyst) is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand medical records.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to build quality arguments.
- Ability to analyze reports/records and draw accurate conclusions.
- Ability to focus in depth on each case while handling multiple cases throughout the day.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills for an extensive caseload.
- Attention to detail and self-direction; process-oriented.
- Experience in documentation, review, and analysis of electronic documents.
- Comfortable with technology, especially case, customer, and project management tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of pre-litigation, paralegal, legal, or insurance case management experience.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (EST).
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
