Pre-Litigation Case Manager, Illinois

About the role

The Case Manager at TopDog Law is responsible for owning the client relationship from the initial Welcome Call through settlement. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the client relationship from day one through settlement
• Connect clients to the right care and walk them through the most stressful experiences with confidence and compassion
• Moving through each case phase with precision and purpose
• Create compelling demand packages and negotiate outcomes that make a real difference for real people
• Leverage cutting-edge technology to stay sharp, move fast, and never let anything slip

Requirements

• 2-6 years of experience supporting Personal Injury pre-litigation matters on cases in Illinois
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience requesting, reviewing, and summarizing medical records and bills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently while collaborating with a team

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate
• Experience in a high-volume or fast-growing law firm
• Familiarity with Personal Injury claims processes and insurance procedures
• Experience with case management software (e.g., Filevine, Clio, SmartAdvocate)
• Comfort working in evolving systems and processes

What We Offer

• Base Salary: $55,000 to $75,000 commensurate with experience
• Eligible for performance-based bonus

$55,000 to $75,000 USD per year (Illinois - Remote)
