Pre-Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities

• Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases
• Conduct client calls and case evaluations to determine legal strategy
• Investigate claims by reviewing police reports, medical records, witness statements, and other evidence
• File management in our case management software
• Understanding UM coverage
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and legal guidance
• Collaborate with your legal assistant to manage case workflow
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards, ethics rules, and firm policies

Qualifications

Required:

• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Valid license to practice law in Louisiana
• Member of the state bar in good standing

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of laws, regulations, financial compliance, and best practices in the field
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including consensus building
• Customer or client service experience
• Excellent persuasive writing skills
• Credible and discreet, with a high level of integrity and the ability to work with highly confidential and privileged information
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Strategic thinker who can prioritize and integrate short-term and long-term goals
• Ability to prioritize and meet multiple and competing deadlines
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
