Responsibilities
- Manage a plaintiff personal injury caseload from intake through settlement
- Evaluate liability, damages, and case value
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding case progress
- Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel
- Review medical records, bills, and supporting documentation
- Cook up with case managers and support staff to move files efficiently
- Maintain accurate case documentation utilizing Filevine
- Develop strategies to maximize client recoveries while providing exceptional client service
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
- 3+ years of plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation experience
- Strong settlement negotiation skills
- Experience communicating with insurance carriers and adjusters
- Filevine experience preferred
- Excellent client communication and organizational skills
