About the role
The Pre-Licensed Therapist will work closely with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver evidence-based treatments for eating disorders and comorbid conditions.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain pre-licensure status in required states and pursue additional licenses as needed.
- Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy in a virtual setting.
- Implement family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID (CBT-AR), and other evidence-based treatments.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions within a patient caseload.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including medical providers, dietitians, patient mentors, and family mentors.
- Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Equip’s EMR.
- Participate in continuous training, supervision, department meetings, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Completion of Master’s degree or doctoral degree program in mental health field and associate license-eligible or in process of obtaining associate license in New York (e.g., marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling, psychology).
- Willingness to support patients of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures with varying degrees of acuity.
- Passion for evidence-based care and treatment.
- Strong team player with passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment.
- Ability to deliver care in a virtual setting safely and effectively.
Compensation & Benefits
- Earning Potential Range: $65,000 to $75,000 annually
