Pre-Licensed Psychotherapist

About the role

LynLake is growing and we're looking for Pre-Licensed Therapists to join our team! As a Pre-Licensed Therapist, you will be dedicated to delivering exceptional outpatient client care in a collaborative setting. Your primary responsibilities will encompass conducting diagnostic assessments and administering targeted treatment, drawing from an array of culturally responsive, trauma-informed and diverse therapeutic modalities, including individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy. Your caseload may include individuals presenting with depression, anxiety, trauma, significant life changes, ADHD, and other mental health symptoms and developmental concerns, thus necessitating experience across a broad spectrum of client profiles and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Providing professional clinical services, including individual, couples, group, and/or family therapy
• Following company policies, professional conduct standards, and all applicable laws and regulations
• Timely completion of medical records and associated tasks to support billing and administration
• Conduct diagnostic assessments, monitor client progress, provide relevant education, and develop treatment plans
• Make referrals to other health professionals and community members as needed
• Attend internal and/or external continuing education courses to stay updated on best practices
• Exceptional clinical and boundary-setting skills along with expertise in therapy processes and treatment modalities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team productively and effectively
• Maintain a minimum caseload of 24 clients per week required

Compensation

• Compensation split of net collections at 52%; paid bi-weekly
• Estimated annual earning potential of $82,000 for a Full-Time W-2 Provider
• W-2 Licensed Provider: 52% Compensation Split

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited program in a counseling-related field, such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
• In a pre-licensed track receiving supervision for one of the following licensures: LPCC, LICSW or LMFT in the state of Minnesota

Preferred qualifications

• Minimum of one year of previous group practice experience (or related outpatient practice experience)
• Works with children under the age of 13 years old
• Trained in Trauma/PTSD (EMDR; ART; Somatic Experiencing; Sensorimotor Psychotherapy; Brainspotting; Internal Family Systems (IFS); DBT; Neurofeedback) and/or Sex therapy
• Experience or training working with: Neurodivergence (ADHD and ASD), addiction, eating disorders, aging/older clients (and able to accept Medicare), Alzheimer's/Dementia, unhoused clients, Women's health (fertility, postpartum, perinatal, etc.)
