Pre-licensed Associate

Responsibilities

• Earn Supervised Professional Experience hours toward licensure
• Provide weekly individual therapy to 15 to 20+ clients per week
• Receive competitive pay while working via telehealth and/or at our Rockridge (Oakland) or Walnut Creek location
• Develop yourself professionally and gain valuable clinical experience in private practice
• Receive individual and group supervision from experienced psychologists invested in your training and career development
• Engage in didactic training to enhance clinical knowledge and skills

Requirements

• Postgraduates who have earned a doctorate or master's degree from an APA-accredited Graduate Psychology program
• Commit to a minimum of 1 year, starting with the first client appointment
• A desire and competence with treating diverse and marginalized populations, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities
• Interested in working in private practice beyond this training experience
• Interested in further developing and strengthening their clinical skills, and their knowledge of the DSM-5 (or DSM-5-TR)
• Uphold high ethical standards
• A capacity for a caseload of 15 to 20+ clients per week
• Work well independently
