About the Role
At the Primrose School of Chelmsford, we have built a supportive environment where you teach alongside an equal partner. Every classroom has two co-teachers with shared ownership and decision-making. Your classroom always has dedicated coverage from a support teacher who knows your students and routines, ensuring consistency even when you’re not there.
You’ll have an education coach in your corner every day—not just for formal observations or when issues arise. Your coach is a thought partner, resource, and advocate to help you grow from day one. Planning happens during work hours, and all classroom materials and supplies are provided. You’ll never take work home or pay out of pocket for your classroom.
Responsibilities
- Teach alongside a co-teacher with shared ownership and decision-making.
- Maintain classroom consistency with the support of a dedicated substitute teacher.
- Collaborate daily with an education coach for professional growth.
- Complete planning during scheduled work hours.
Requirements
- MA Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) teacher certification (required).
- Demonstrated experience in early childhood education (Preschool or Pre-K level preferred).
- Full-time availability.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a skilled, experienced teacher who is committed to growth and values a supportive environment. You should be ready to thrive in a role where your development is prioritized, and you’re given the structures to succeed.
