Your impact
The Pre-Construction Coordinator supports project readiness activities upstream of construction execution and serves as the bridge between design, planning, logistics, project management, and field execution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of construction projects during the pre-construction phase.
- Evaluate project readiness and identify schedule, design, material, logistics, or operational constraints prior to field execution.
- Cross-functional coordination between Engineering, Design, Project Management, Procurement, Logistics, and Construction teams.
- Facilitate structured project handoffs from planning into construction execution.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, critical path activities, and schedule impacts.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and metrics to communicate project status, readiness, and constraints.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and help standardize planning and readiness workflows across the program.
- Drive action items to closure while maintaining clear communication with internal and client stakeholders.
- Support pull planning activities, schedule coordination, and overall project readiness planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Power BI is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Excel VBA, Power Query, Power Automate, and other business intelligence or automation tools would be considered a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate large datasets, identify project risks and constraints, prioritize competing tasks, and drive issues to resolution.
- Experience supporting semiconductor construction, industrial construction, manufacturing, or large capital projects is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, customer service, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as this position regularly interfaces with clients, project managers, design teams, suppliers, logistics personnel, construction coordinators, and field leadership.
