About the role
R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Part Time Pre-Clerk to work in our Knoxville, TN Service Center.
Responsibilities
- Answering calls on a multi-line system
- Redirecting calls to appropriate contacts
- Data entry
- Processing driver paperwork
- Assisting dispatchers
- Other duties may apply as requested by management
Requirements
- Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency
- Ability to type 30 WPM with accuracy
- Dependable and well-organized
- Must be computer literate
- Possess strong office, telephone, and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products
- Preferred 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast‑paced environment
- Freight logistics experience
